Scheduling an appointment: Our recommendation is to make an appointment a day in advance on the contact phone 062 888 6666, in order to reduce the possibility of waiting for the purchase/sale of products. You can also schedule a free consultation with our employees on the same contact phone number.

Free Parking: We are pleased to offer free parking for all our visitors. Convenient parking is available directly at the building. You should mention that you’re visiting Tavex at the ramp. There is 10 parking spots, and if it happens that there are no spaces, you can use TC Usce.

Complimentary Refreshments: Enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, and water during your visit. Our comfortable waiting area is equipped with refreshments to make your experience more pleasant.

Ušće Kula 1 is not pet friendly: Unfortunately, the building policy does not allow pets.

Wi-Fi Access: Stay connected with our free high-speed Wi-Fi available throughout our office. Feel free to use it during your visit for any business or personal needs.

Dress Code: Please be aware that the building enforces a dress code policy. Closed-toe shoes are required, and flip flops or similar casual footwear are not permitted. Additionally, we ask that you avoid wearing beach shorts, tank tops, short dresses or any other beachwear.

All around the world these products represent investment gold, but in Serbia because of law restrictions regarding country of origin on these products there are additional expenses.

If products are made in the EU, Switzerland, Great Britain or Turkey they are free of additional taxes. For all other countries there is a 10% tax.

For that reason, we think these products are not the best option for investment.

The subscription gold bar from Tavex is the cheapest 1-gram investment gold bar on the retail market in serial production, produced by an accredited LBMA gold refiner, given the Tavex subscription plan is completed. The bar’s buyback by the large trader is guaranteed in the European Union as a part of the Tavex product catalogue.

By the Law on Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism (Official Herald of the Republic of Serbia no. 113/2017, 91/2019 and 153/2020) prescribes that person that sells goods and real estates or provides services in the Republic of Serbia may not accept cash payments in the amount of 1 150 000 RSD (10 000 EUR)

Tavex makes no difference in price if the product isn’t purchased at Tavex, this is the principle by which investment gold works worldwide. When selling, we definitely check the originality based on the dimensions, weight and details of the product. We buy back all products for which you can find purchase and sale prices on our website tavex.rs. It is important that the products are not damaged, opened, drilled, stamped because we can only buy products that are in a good condition for further trade.

There are two types of promo codes:

– codes with which you get a discount on certain products,

– codes with which you register yourself for participation in the prize draw.

When making a personal purchase in our office, it is necessary to emphasize that you want to use the promo code.

If you order products through the website, after choosing one of the products to which the promo code applies, when viewing the basket, there is an option “Enter the gift card code”, it is located below the total amount. You need to enter the code in that field, and then confirm by clicking on the yellow arrow at the end of the field. If you entered the promo code correctly, the notification “Valid promo code” will appear as a sign that it has been successfully used.

We deliver to the whole country.

Delivery does not take more than 3 working days.

Orders to customer’s address confirmed by 16:00 are sent on the same day and after 16:00 – on the next working day.

Orders to Parcel locker or DExpress’s shop confirmed by 15:00 are sent on the same day and after 15:00 – on the next working day.

In some cases, the delivery time depends on the courier’s work schedule in relation to the settlements.

The delivery costs are based on the following :

1.Fixed fee for delivery to your address.

2.Fixed fee for delivery to parcel shop.

Whichever delivery you choose, there is an “Additional logistic fee” which costs 1% of the total value of your shipment. This fee is covering fuel costs, insurance and others.

If your package contains silver products, VAT is calculated on silver product price with delivery fee and additional logistic fee for whole package.

The coins are always placed in special protective capsules, and the gold bars – in a vacuum package. Upon delivery to the address or office of a courier, the products are also transported in specially made transport packages, placed in an envelope with its own serial number, by the courier.

The prices of investment products depend on the fluctuations of the financial markets and are beyond the control of Tavex.

Purchased products cannot be returned to the purchase price.

Because you are buying a liquid investment product, you can sell it to any precious metal dealer.

Payments for products worth more than 1 150 000 RSD(10 000 EUR) can be made only by bank transfer in accordance with The Law on Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism (Official Herald of the Republic of Serbia no.113/2017, 91/2019 and 153/2020).

If you place a single order for more than 1 150 000 RSD(10 000 EUR) in our website, you have to make a payment based on the pre-invoice which you will receive after the confirmation. When we can confirm the payment , we can send your products via courier or you`re welcome in our office to get them.

At first place you can pay via bank transfer for every purchase.

If you want to receive your products in our office or by courier , you can also pay by cash.

Once you have placed an order through the online shop, an advanced offer containing the payment details will be sent automatically to the email address that you provided during the checkout process.When making the payment via transfer, the funds should be sent to one of our bank accounts listed on the invoice. When making the bank transfer, you can refer to the order number.

All photos on the Tavex site are of real products and taken especially for the Tavex Group, however the images simply illustrate what an investment product in this category should look like.

When ordering, you will receive a product that looks like the one in the photo, with possible discrepancies in the year of issue or strictly individual features such as allowable scratches and so on.

In case the product you ordered is unavailable or we cannot deliver it on time, we will contact you as soon as possible.

We will pay personal attention to the problem depending on its nature in order to satisfy your needs to the maximum.

When we say physical gold, we mean only the actual possession of investment gold bars and coins.

Gold certificates, broker accounts, exchange-traded fund units investing in gold or derivatives are examples of paper “gold” owned.

Always shop at authorized investment gold dealers with a good reputation and guaranteeing the quality of the products they offer.

To protect yourself from counterfeiting, do not buy gold coins from the street or from random people unless you are 100% confident in your knowledge of gold.

Monitor the quality of workmanship. All real coins are extremely exquisite and detailed, something that cannot be achieved in conditions other than a state mint.

A certificate for an investment product can be issued only by its manufacturer. It must be an integral part of it and have a unique serial number, both on it and on the product itself. An example of this are the investment gold bars – the packaging is also their certificate, because it meets the above conditions.

Coins are a real means of payment and do not have a serial number.

Therefore, some traders issue information sheets, but not certificates.

The final price of investment gold and silver products is determined by:

• stock price
• manufacturer’s mark-up
• logistics costs
• global and local search.

According to the Value Added Tax Law, investment gold is:

• gold in the form of bars or slabs of a weight accepted by the gold markets and of a purity equal to or greater than 995 thousandths;
• gold coins determined by an order of the Governor of the Bulgarian National Bank and the Minister of Finance, for which the following conditions are met simultaneously:
• their purity is equal to or greater than 900 thousandths;
• cut after 1800;
• were or are legal tender in the country of origin;
• they are usually sold at a price that does not exceed the value of gold at market prices, contained in the coins more than 80 percent.

In short, these are coins and bars with a high gold standard (over 90.0%) and a standard shape, the price of which is close to the stock exchange price of gold in them. These coins and bars are a common investment tool worldwide. They are exempt from VAT.

Every trader of investment gold in Serbia must identify the person to whom it sold investment gold. The receipt, which will be issued, must contain the following data:

• name
• address
• personal ID number (tax ID for legal entities)

Investment gold has been sold without VAT since 1 April 2018.

The order will automatically be cancelled if payment is not made within one hour of placing the order. If you want to cancel your order, please contact us.

Physical investment gold and silver can be stored anywhere. Most often in:

• safe;
• hiding place in the house;
• bank cassette;
• public vault.

The most important thing to protect gold and silver from injury is to keep it in the original vacuum package (for bars and some coins) or in a special capsule. Do not pinch your investment products with heavy objects and do not place them near substances dangerous to them (nitric acid).

The spot is the current market-clearing price of gold or silver that is set by factors of supply and demand in the global financial markets. The spot price refers to 1 troy ounce of .999 fine gold or silver.

The bid (or buy as a layman’s term) is the price at which market participants, such as Tavex, are ready to buy gold or silver at any given time.

The ask (or sell as a layman’s term) is the price at which market participants, such as Tavex, are ready to sell gold or silver at any given time.

The spread is the difference between the ask and the bid price. For example, if the bid for a 1 ounce Gold Philharmonic is €1000 and the ask price is €1040 then the “bid-ask spread” is €40. A low bid-ask spread is often a good indicator of high liquidity. Products with high liquidity, such as the Gold Philharmonic coin, will have a lower bid-ask spread compared to other less well-known gold coins, which means that you, as an investor, will save money when trading in and out of your investment.

Although the weight of gold and silver is sometimes quoted in kilograms or grams, the official weight measurement to gauge the mass of precious metals is the troy ounce. One troy ounce (oz) equals 31.1034768 grams. Note that a troy ounce is not the same as an avoirdupois ounce (more commonly known as the kitchen ounce) which equals approximately 28.34 grams.

• 1 oz = 31,10
• 1/2 oz = 15,55
• 1/4 oz = 7,78
• 1/10 oz = 3,10
• 1/20 oz = 1,55

The purity of gold and silver is measured in millesimal fineness, which denotes the purity of the metal in parts per thousand. For example, the Valcambi 100 gram gold bar contains a gold fineness of 999.9, which means that the bar is 99.99% pure gold. Another example, the Napoleon with a gross weight of 6.45 grams contains a gold fineness of 900, which denotes a gold purity of 90% or 6.45 x 0.9 = 5.81 grams of pure gold.

In addition to fineness, the traditional purity measurement of gold is the karat (K). The highest karat rating is 24 and this equals or is greater than 99.9% pure gold. Example for this is the Gold Philharmonic which is 24 karats. Another example is the Gold Ducat , which purity is 0.986 and means it is 23.66 karats(0.986 x 24).

Purity to karat:

• 0,900 = 21.6K
• 0,917 = 22K
• 0,986 = 23,66K
• 0,999 = 24K

As fine gold coins and bars are extremely soft, they can very easily be damaged. Product’s value is decreased when gold is scratched, bent or the original package has been opened.

Here are some suggestions on how to properly handle gold coins to avoid damage and loss of value:

• Do not remove coins or bars from their package (plastic capsule, vacuum pack) unless it is absolutely necessary.
• Always pick up coins and bars only by their edges.
• Never touch gold anywhere on its surface as fingerprints may reduce the value. Fingerprints cannot be removed from the mirror surface. Be aware that even the finest cloth makes small tiny scratches on the surface of a coin.
• If you need to touch gold products, it advisable to wear white, clean cloth gloves.
• Never try to bite gold to test its softness.
• Try not to let one coin touch another as nicks and scratches can result.
• Do not drag coins across any surface.
• When removing coins from a holder is necessary, place them on a clean, soft surface. A velvet pad is an ideal surface. A clean soft cloth or clean piece of blank paper may be sufficient for harder coins (coins with gold proof 900-917).

PS! The above applies mainly to gold coins with very high purity(0,999) and bars. Many historical gold coins have been in circulation and are therefore scratched and nicked. Gold market value has preserved in spite of that.
